Description
Inspired by the potbelly stoves once found in train stations and rail cars, this stove is built entirely of cast iron and designed to burn coal. Its generous firepot with shaker grate holds 40 lb of coal for about eight hours of burn before refueling. A separate ash door with slide draft control creates a forge effect for proper combustion, and the flared top with an 8 in. lift-out lid holds a fry pan or tea kettle. The stove ships assembled except for the legs.
